Revd Kevin Watson is our Moderator here in the Synod of Yorkshire, leading a busy life, caring pastorally for all our URC ministers (both serving and retired), and serving on various local, regional and national committees, for the URC and ecumenically.

Tim Crossley is the full-time Synod Clerk, acting on behalf of everyone in the Synod and through whom many questions and queries may be asked. He can be found most of the time Monday to Friday at the Synod Office, but if not can be contacted by email here or on 07936 362673.

Sheila Duncan is available to deal with your enquiries about matters relating to the care, use, and development of your buildings. This includes dealing with applications to the Synod Property Committee. Sheila is normally available in the office from 9.00 am to 3.15 pm on Tuesday to Thursday or can be contacted here.
Matthew Prevett is the first point of contact on trusteeship or legal matters and is also the person to speak to in connection with leases, licences, hiring agreements and associated matters relating to your church property. Matthew works part-time 3 days a week and is normally available in the office from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm Tuesday to Thursday or can be contacted here.

Hayley Brook is responsible for all accounting and Finance for the Synod, including making payments. Hayley normally works 9.15am to 3.00pm on Monday to Friday and can be contacted here.
Anne Ward has served the Synod for over 30 years!! In addition to being a Secretary she is the Investments Administrator for the Synod. Anne normally works 7.15am to 4.00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday and can be contacted here.

Sally Duxbury works as the Moderator’s Personal Assistant and also as Secretary catering for the general needs of the Office. Sally normally works 8.30am to 3.45pm Monday to Thursday and can be contacted here.

Megan Tillbrook is our Children & Young People’s Development Practitioner for the southern area of the Synod.
She is responsible for helping to develop children and youth work and organises training and retreat days for workers and volunteers as well as residential and day events for youth, children and families.
