This will be a time for participants to look together at the lectionary readings for 13th, 20th, 27th June & 4th July in preparation for leading worship on those Sundays. Writing for the web - a session led by Lawrence Moore, is suitable for anyone who ever produces content for a church website, newsletter (online or print!) or social media. This exciting, interactive workshop will cover: Reading styles: web vs. print; Building your audience profile; Fog index & readability; "Chunking" content; The inverted pyramid of journalism; Bells & whistles. The sessions will take place on Zoom, a link for which will be sent out nearer the time. There are two iterations of the same session, taking place on 15th July 7-9pm and 17th July 10am-12pm. Little Big Day Out

'Little Big Day Out' is a chance for families and children from your church to have fun and spend time together after so many months of isolation and limits on our lives. We cannot offer a large organised programme due to ongoing Covid restrictions but we can provide some space for fun and  'time out'. We hope you and your families will find it valuable to just be together. Tickets for this event are already at a reduced price but further subsidy is available, so please get in touch to discuss your church or families' circumstance. Tickets are needed for everyone over 90cm tall (however old you are). You can click on the poster below to download a copy. Download a booking form here. Bookings can be made by families or or you can arrange a group to go together. Unaccompanied adults are not allowed into the park but any adults who are taking or helping with children are welcome.
