She currently exercises a Special Category Ministry MediaCityUK Church and Community Hub in Salford Quays.  This is a partnership between Oasis and the URC.  Her role is to build a church community in the Hub serving both the Academy and the local communities of Ordsall/Langworthy estates and MediaCity.  Ruth is involved with the Academy through chaplaincy and mentoring and occasional RE lessons; and with the community through PlaySpace; Talk English Café and sometimes with Youth Club and building up Holy Hub a Thursday evening Church Group. \nNigel Robertsis the Further Education Chaplaincy Ambassador in the West Midlands area as part of the work of the West Midlands Churches Further Education Council.
