As many of you will know, the church at Saltaire suffered severe damage in
the two storms of February 2020. Since then work has been ongoing to the point that it is nearly finished. This was to coincide with the annual Music & Arts Festival In Bradford | Saltaire Festival and still will do now that the festival has been put back by two weeks. So as well as the doors of the church being open to visitors during the 2 weekends Saltaire Festival was to take place on 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th September there is the added aim to open the church on 24th & 25th September and 1st and 2nd O
ctober when the Festival will happen.
Tidying up and cleaning is well under way and it is hoped that a small display will be up in the church highlighting the collapse of the ceiling and subsequent repairs that are being carried out.
