At their service on Sunday 2nd July, St Andrew’s Roundhay United Reformed Church gave thanks to Mr David Figures, a dedicated member who has given 60 years of service to the church.  David was firstly a Deacon at Roundhay Congregational Church, and then an elder when the church became St Andrew’s URC in 1972. Rev Tim Lowe, the church’s minister, presented David with a Certificate of Loyal and Devoted Service and a URC elders’ badge.

David also served for many years as a member and then convener of the Synod’s Listed Buildings Advisory Committee.
