Those familiar with Otley will know that a hundred or so yards from the bridge over the River Wharfe are two churches (opposite one another).
Going out of town, on the left is Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Church, and on the right is the Bridge Church, the United Reformed Church in Otley.
Bridge Street divides the two churches – but in a demonstration of Christian Unity, Father Nicholas Hird (from the Catholic Church) and Rev Jason McCullagh from the URC reach out to show that although Bridge Street dissects us, we have more in common than that which keeps us apart!
