For the second year running the Bridge Church held a Lent Challenge, where members and friends were asked to donate one item per day through Lent for the Shine Food Bank, based at St Stephen’s Parish Church in West Bowling, Bradford.
The Bridge Church was open for the six Saturday mornings during Lent to receive people’s gifts and six trestle tables were filled with the donations.
Lou, the Project Manager from Shine said ‘We are once again overwhelmed by your generosity; these gifts will help so many individuals and families, particularly in the current climate’.
