Organised by their Children’s, Youth and Families worker, elders and members of Shiregreen URC, Sheffield spent 5 days on a creative and reflective retreat on Lindisfarne.  Martin Lambourne, Church Secretary, told us of their time there:

“We spent time worshiping in an evening with the Northumbrian Community and in the morning at the St. Cuthbert’s Centre, led by it’s minister, Rev Kay Blackwell.

Activities included creating collages, felt pictures and dream catchers using natural materials such as shells and pebbles.

Cycling for the brave, walking for the well wrapped up and paddling the pilgrim route across to the island for the foolhardy. Altogether a time of inspiration and bonding. To be recommended!”
