We are really pleased to announce the return of Yorkshire Synod’s Wilderness Project for 2022.
The project is a chance for young people (aged 16-25) to get more involved and make a difference in the life of their church. The Synod is offering the opportunity for young people to be paid for up to 3 hours a week for 6 months (Feb-July 2022) to try out an idea to benefit their church’s mission.
You can download all the details of the project, and an application form. The project needs to be a partnership between the church and the young person, so both parties will need to be on board and agree to the project idea.
This exciting opportunity is open to anyone aged 16-25 who is connected to a URC congregation in Yorkshire. Get in touch first to tell us about your idea. If you’re interested but don’t have an idea yet, then still talk to us, we might be able to help you think of something you’d like to do.
