This autumn Yorkshire Synod is organising a ‘little’ Big Day Out. This is a smaller version of our usual bi-annual event and is aimed at young families in particular. This will be a great opportunity to bring people together and have some fun. We have been able to secure some tickets for Gulliver’s Valley near Sheffield at a reduced price of £12 per person (over 90cm tall), and these are now available to churches to reserve.
After the last 18 months, many people are feeling isolated and looking forward to meeting up with friends. This could be a great opportunity to bring your families together this autumn for some fun and relaxation. We are not able to offer an organised programme due to current restrictions, but we hope you will enjoy the opportunity for people to have fun together.
Group bookings should be made by the church using the form here. Bookings need to be received before Weds 1st Sep, 2021. Further subsidy per ticket will be available, please get in touch.
This event will follow the social distancing and hygiene guidelines in place at the resort at the time. We would also recommend that anyone over 12 should wear a mask and wash their hands, particularly in indoor areas, to reduce the risk of Covid infection. The event will also be subject to any local restrictions or regulations that might be in place at the time.
